CRT photoCatherine Rahilly Tierney MD MPH is a board-certified internist, an epidemiologist, and the founder and CEO of Strategic Research Partners LLC.  Catherine earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and her MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.  Following her clinical training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, she completed the Harvard General Internal Medicine Fellowship and earned her MPH from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.   She currently is a part-time staff physician at the Boston VA, an Associate Epidemiologist at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.  She began consulting for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry as junior faculty at Harvard, then expanded her business to include members of her academic and industry network including biostatisticians, health economists, SAS analysts, clinicians, and epidemiologists.

As a team, Strategic Research Partners LLC, formerly CRT Epidemiology Consulting LLC, have engaged in numerous projects using a multi-disciplinary approach to advance our clients’ practice-changing technologies into the clinic. Since Catherine is first and foremost a doctor at heart, working to improve the lives of patients is at the core of all that we do.
